Northern Country District Forecast

A high pressure system over western Bass Strait will move slowly southeast to be located southwest of Tasmania by tonight, then move east during Saturday to be located over the southern Tasman Sea by Sunday morning. The high will then remain slow moving during Monday as a weak cold front slides southeast towards Tasmania and an associated low pressure trough approaches western Victoria.
Forecast for the rest of Friday 22 February Sunny. Winds south to southeasterly 20 to 30 km/h. Daytime maximum temperatures around 30.

Sunny. Winds southerly 15 to 25 km/h turning southeasterly 25 to 35 km/h during the morning then decreasing to 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to around 12 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 30s.
